What's the Link Experiment?

The link experiment was started on May 15th, 2006 with links for sale at a starting bid of $.01 per link. The idea is simple. The homepage will hold 100 links which anyone can buy. The links are bid on, with the highest bidder getting the top link, and the lowest bidder getting the bottom link. For every new bid, the last link gets pushed off the homepage.

I created this page with a goal of making one million dollars online. I've currently sold 505 links for $15,485 .

Advertise Your Site

You can advertise your website by filling out the form on the purchase page. Just fill out what you'd like to bid for your link(s) and it will tell you what position you will get on the homepage.

How Will This Work?

People come back again and again to check up on the progress of the site. As the site earns more and more money, people will check the site more often and tell their friends to check it out. When they're on the site your ads will be displayed and available for the users to click on to go to your site. In addition as the site reaches new milestones more bloggers and press will write about the success of the Link Experiment.
