Wow, so I checked my email today to find a bunch of sales for links today. I added them up and the total came to $1,166.47! Wowzah! Over $1,000 of profit in one day is quite a feat. This also brings the link experiment to over 500 links sold, and $15,368 generated. Was hoping to get over that $15,000 mark. I also made over $300 on the day with my other online ventures, brining the day’s total over $1,500. I think it’s high time I throw some of this money into the link experiment. Think I’m going to go with a ton of link experiment t-shirts and some advertising. Reviews of the websites that got links coming up next.

I’ve been following the senate races in Virginia and Montana from last night into this morning and it looks to me like the races are ready to be called. Here’s CNNs data on the Montana race as of now:

both say that 99% of precincts have reported, but if you look at the data from the precincts you’ll find that 100% of every precinct in both Montana and Virginia have been counted. Here’s a screenshot from cnn of the precincts in Montana:

Now I think it’s good to not call a race to early and count all the votes. But it looks to me like 100% of precincts are reporting as you can see from the images above. I think it’s time to at least project the winner of these races.

Just ran a 4 mile race at Haverford. Came in 11th with a 20:12, which is pretty good. Mile splits were 4:58, 5:00, 5:08, 5:06. Felt good until the last mile, was really focusing on trying to relax my breathing, but still wheezing and then started cramping. Manged to put in a surge the last half mile. Seeing the asthma guy on Monday, hope he knows what the deal is. Would be great to run without wheezing at all. But still a great time. Got a 5-mile race at Lehigh in a week.

I can’t believe this is actually true, but six flags is having a halloween promotion. If you eat a live Madagascar hissing cockroach you can skip all lines when you go to six flags. I wonder how many people will do this. Full story here

The powerball is up to 137 million, I had to buy a ticket. Whenever I buy a ticket I can’t help thinking about how freaking awesome it would be to win that much money. Wish me luck!

so i got this letter from bank of america today that says

This amount is being remitted due to a recent credit balance on your credit card account. This amount may appear as an adjustment on your next billing statement.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving your credit card needs.

Thank you.

And there’s a check for $99. First of all, I don’t even know what remitted means. Secondly there’s no name, number, or any contact info on the letter. So I called bank of america and asked them about it, and they said they couldn’t find any information in my account about a remitted amount being sent to me. I’m going to go over to bank of america and show them the letter. Not only this but the return address is in arizona and the letter was sent from connecticut. Additionally, I looked up the return address on google, and it says it’s a bank of america, but when i call the number listed, I get a voice message system similar to the one on any verizon cell phone.

THEN, when I go to bank of america’s website, I can’t find this location listed in their branch locator system.

This is all very weird. I’ll get to the bottom of this.

alright. So it looks like the pagerank 4 was jumping the gun a bit. My pagerank reader read linkexperiment.com at 4, but now has gone back to 0. I suspect that linkexperiment.com will receive a pagerank of 4 when the google update comes around, which should be soon.
