Big Alexa drop below 50,000 now at 44,251. I think there’s a good chance of linkexperiment showing up in alexa’s movers and shakers list pretty soon. Here’s a graph of the traffic spike:

link alexa

woohoo! over the $5,000 mark. Broke the $500 marker yesterday due to a new high link of $300 from the precharge forums. They’re doing a SEO contest with over $4,000 in prizes and the winner taking $2,000 home. I might make a stab at it.

1) 2 days ago LinkExperiment .net, .org, .biz, .us, .co.uk, and .info were registered. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I suppose.

2) Links are no longer put up automatically. Someone tried to sneak their links onto the page using my automatic system, I knew it would happen someday, so I had to take the automatic system down. New links will be placed manually by myself and should take less than 12 hours (probably only an hour or two).

3) I’m in contact with a couple local newspapers that are looking to do articles about linkexperiment.com, very exciting!

runningWeek Total: 84 Miles

Sunday: 16 miles AM: 0miles PM: 16miles saunders+ Average long run, nice running weather.

Saturday: 15 miles AM: 5miles Philly ran on the river PM: 10miles trails

Friday: 8 miles AM: 0miles PM: 8miles trails easy recovery day

Thursday: 11 miles AM: 2miles shakeout PM: 9miles Nova came in 11th place with a 20:12. Good time and good race. Splits were 4:58, 5:00, 5:08, 5:06. Wheezing was a problem again for the last mile. Managed to put a good kick in the last half mile. One of my better races I’d say, I need to figure out this wheezing thing though, it’s annoying.

Wednesday: 10 miles AM: 5miles trail PM: 5miles trail relaxed day before the race

Tuesday: 10 miles AM: 5miles trail PM: 5miles trails + strides after

Monday: 14 miles AM: 5miles trail +drills PM: 9miles workout warmup 6 miles did 5 college with a group of goats. then on the track for 8×200 with 200 rest in 32, 33, 31, 33, 33, 32, 31, 31 with team contamination. Felt very faced, stride not very relaxed at all. Not used to turning over the legs that quickly. Probably a good sign that I can run a good 3 mile off of no speed whatsoever. Pumped to see what I can run after I get some faster stuff in a little later in the season. cooldown 1 mile on the alumni

So the grand total for yesterday was 44 links for over $1,200. At 9 AM today the total is already over $450, so on pace to surpass even yesterday. This all seems so crazy, I always thought it might happen something like this.

Ok, I woke up this morning to find a ton of link orders and traffic coming from shoemoney’s post about my site. Thanks shoe!

I had to play catch-up a bit, but I think I got all the links up. The system I have setup is only semi-automatic I guess. If your link doesn’t get up right away, I should have it up within less than 20 hours.

The site is really picking up now, this is all very exciting. I think it’s averaged over $300 per day over the last few days. And today is off to a killer start.

shoemoneyWe’ve got a new #1 link and it’s from just about the only blog I read regularly. Shoemoney’s Skills to Pay the Bills is, in my opinion, the best resource for internet advertising, marketing, and money making. He’s got a radio show called Net Income, which gives real insight to making money on the web from people who are very good at it. I’m glad Shoemoney’s got the #1 spot, check out his site if you get a chance and take a listen to his show.

Just ran a 4 mile race at Haverford. Came in 11th with a 20:12, which is pretty good. Mile splits were 4:58, 5:00, 5:08, 5:06. Felt good until the last mile, was really focusing on trying to relax my breathing, but still wheezing and then started cramping. Manged to put in a surge the last half mile. Seeing the asthma guy on Monday, hope he knows what the deal is. Would be great to run without wheezing at all. But still a great time. Got a 5-mile race at Lehigh in a week.

I can’t believe this is actually true, but six flags is having a halloween promotion. If you eat a live Madagascar hissing cockroach you can skip all lines when you go to six flags. I wonder how many people will do this. Full story here
